Weekend Support Worker - Lowestoft

Are you a person that likes to be busy in the community if you are then we have a perfect place for you. The role will be supporting one lady with learning disabilities and mental health within her own home. There will also be the opportunity to support two gentlemen in their own homes across the weekend as well.

We are looking for warm and friendly people to join our team supporting people who live independently in Lowestoft. You will be working alongside them in their own home so it’s important you can connect, share interests and be interested. 
This role will involve a real hands-on approach supporting them to maintain their health and wellbeing. 
They enjoy a variety of activities at home and within their community, so if you enjoy new and exciting things to do, then this could be just the place for you.

You should be available to work 7am- 10pm with a sleep in across a weekend.

Ability to commute/relocate: NR32 - You must be able to reliably commute for shift start times or plan to relocate before starting work (required).

Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence.

We will train you in everything you need to be a great Support Worker. We will apply and pay for your enhanced DBS, and we have a mentorship scheme in place to provide support and guide you on your journey with us.

 What will you do?
 
Supporting people is really important but it’s not all trips out and artwork. We also support people to take their medication, make healthy lifestyle choices or maintain their home in a way they are safe and well.
