Could you make a difference with just a smile?
Sometimes the smallest actions can have the biggest impact. Taking the time to listen, encourage, and support someone to make their own choices can help them live a more independent and fulfilling life.
As a Support Worker, you'll empower people to do the things many of us take for granted. Whether it's a trip to the local shops, trying a new hobby, joining a gym, enjoying a day out, or even going on holiday, you'll be there to provide the support that makes these experiences possible.
About the Role
You'll support people across our locations in Blean, Whitstable, and Herne Bay. The individuals we support enjoy a wide range of activities, including long walks, swimming, cinema trips, shopping, listening to music, relaxing in the garden, going for drives, playing golf, and visiting theme parks.
Your role will be to help people take part in the activities they enjoy while supporting them to maintain their independence, build confidence, and achieve their personal goals.
This role includes a variety of day shifts and occasional waking night shifts. Applicants must be willing and able to work some waking nights as required. During waking night shifts, you will remain awake throughout the shift to provide support, reassurance, and assistance when needed. Day shifts focus on supporting people with daily living tasks and accessing their local community.
