Job Introduction

  • Location: St Leonards on Sea, Near Hastings, East Sussex
  • Hourly rate: £12.54 per hour
  • Hours per week: 27 hours  (3 nights) & 18 hours (2 nights)
  • Training Provided: Full training provided. Opportunities to complete an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
  • Required: The ability to get to this location for shift times (10pm-7am)

We have a new opportunity for 2 waking night staff to join our team.


Who will I support?

In this role, you will provide essential support during the night to 6 people with Learning disabilities living in our supported living home in St Leonards on Sea, near Hastings, fostering connections and sharing interests. Whether they love watching late-night movies with a hot chocolate or need assistance getting up early, your presence will be invaluable. You will build meaningful relationships and offer thoughtful, responsive care, empowering individuals to navigate life with confidence and independence. 

You will be supporting people with complex needs support including non verbal communication, moving and handling and personal care, as needed across the night.

At times you will be required to attend training and team meetings during the day, outside of your normal night work pattern.
