We currently have opportunities for a male support worker to join our team working alongside young people with Autism and Learning disabilities in their homes in Bristol.

To be part of these young persons teams you will need to have some experience supporting people with Learning disabilities and Autism. You should be friendly, chatty and confident, one gentlemen you will be supporting particularly enjoys chatting about cars.

You should be passionate, calm and patient, but above all you must have a great sense of humour, positive approach and genuine desire to support people to maintain their quality of life and independence regardless of the potential barriers they face.

The people we support like to get out and about and have their own vehicles, so you will need to be a driver and willing to drive their vehicles. For this you should have a full UK manual driving licence and have held it for at least 1 year for insurance purposes.

This is a fulltime role for 37.5 hours per week. You should be available for shifts across the week and weekends.

Ability to commute/relocate: BS10 - You must be able to reliably commute for shift start times or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence.

We will train you in everything you need to be a great support worker. We will apply and pay for your enhanced DBS, and we have a mentorship scheme in place to provide support and guide you on your journey with us.
