✨ The Opportunity
Are you a values-driven digital communications professional ready to amplify voices and build online communities that create real change? This is a hands-on delivery role, focused on supporting the day-to-day coordination, creation, publication and evaluation of digital content across the organisation’s key channels.
As our Digital Marketing Officer, you will provide digital activity linked to a range of organisational priorities, including recruitment, public affairs, stakeholder engagement and commercial activity. You will work with colleagues across the organisation to gather stories, information and content, helping to maintain a varied and regular flow of accurate, relevant and engaging material.
You’ll work under the direction of the Senior Marketing & External Affairs Manager to maintain and update website and social media content, support agreed search engine optimisation (SEO), generative engine optimisation (GEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) activity to help strengthen the organisation’s online visibility and engagement.
What You’ll Do
Website Management
- Coordinate day-to-day website content and updates.
- Use Google Search Console and GA4 to monitor website traffic, user engagement and search performance.
- Support the implementation of agreed SEO and GEO activity to improve online visibility and reach.
Social Media Content and Community Management
- Build and nurture trust and engagement across social media platforms.
- Empower and enable colleagues to share values-led content that showcases our work and impact.
- Create engaging and accessible content that reflects the brand’s tone of voice and values, targeting a range of audiences and stakeholders including people we support, families, commissioning teams and public affairs professionals.
Content Creation & Digital PR
- Produce accessible multimedia content (video, graphics, storytelling).
- Support agreed digital PR activity to amplify campaigns, events, and partnerships.
- Prepare targeted content for public affairs and stakeholder engagement activity.
Analytics, Evaluation and Improvement
- Review digital performance and continuously optimise for greater impact.
- Monitor competitor activity and emerging digital trends to keep our digital presence strong and support future planning.
✅ What You Bring
- Degree or equivalent experience in digital marketing, communications, media or a related field.
- Experience creating, publishing and updating digital content for websites and social media channels for an organisation or brand.
- Working knowledge of website content management, SEO principles and social media best practice.
- Good writing, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences, platforms and purposes.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to align digital activity with organisational goals.
- (Bonus) Experience in health, social care, or non-profit sectors & familiarity with accessibility tools.
