Job Introduction
Do you like going to local parks and gardens?
Do you have patience and empathy?
Become a Support Worker.
What matters to the people we support matters to us. It’s their life, their way.
You will be supporting an individual who has moved into their own home for the first time, so it’s important you can connect, share interests and be interested. From making a cuppa on their own to finding their place in community by attending music events, sports, and swimming and much more. For this role, it is essential that you have experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities, autism and complex needs, this can be personal or professional.
What will we do?
Supporting people is really important but it’s not all trips out and artwork. We also support people to take their medication, make healthy lifestyle choices or maintain their home in a way they are safe and well.
It sounds exciting to say no two days will be the same, but in support, sometimes they are. Sometimes people like routine and struggle with change… But when you support someone to try something new – what a feeling!
If you want to empower people to live the life they choose and you share our values… Apply to become a Support Worker today.
Ready to do things differently? Submit your application.
We’re committed to being Disability Confident and we guarantee to interview all applicants with a disability who meet the minimum criteria for the vacancy.
