What does it mean to be a support worker?
Think about your daily routine and what matters to you. If you needed support to keep your day the way you like it, what would be important to you?
In this role, you will:
- Take time to understand what a great day means to the person you support.
- Adjust your approach to meet people’s needs and build on both their strengths and your own.
- Help build a supportive environment that encourages everyone to thrive and gives them the freedom to live their life their way.
You will need to work shifts as part of a flexible rota, including sleep ins, across the week and some weekends.
This location can be hard to reach on public transport for shift times, so you should be a driver with access to a vehicle.
The people supported also have their own vehicle so you should hold a manual licence and be prepared to drive the vehicle to ensure people can make the most of their day!
