As a Positive Behavioural Support worker you will help support people with learning disabilities, Autism, mental health and complex needs to transform their lives.
Who will I support?
You will work with adults (18+) to provide support that will significantly improve their quality of life. This will be supporting individuals within their own home who enjoy shopping trips, cooking, going for long walks and visiting places of interest.
How will I make a difference?
- Your support will enable the people you support to stay in their own homes and access their communities
- You will take time to understand the lived experience of the person you’re supporting. You’ll help them build tools they will use for the rest of their lives to live great, independent lives
- You’ll also support their families, carers and other professionals to apply and embed these steps for long lasting impact
