This is an exciting opportunity helping a very independent gentleman in the mornings and once every other week for an evening meal. The support involves helping him with his daily routines, such as making his bed, breakfast with a great cup of coffee, taking his Labrador for a walk together and going to any appointments he has.
He loves to garden, take care of his Koi Carps and trips out, especially to the garden centre and the pub.
He has his own mobility vehicle, hence why this is a driver essential role and you must have a full UK manual driving licence.
The shifts are Mon-Fri 09:30-12:30, Sat-Sun 08:30-13:00 and 16:00-19:00 for the evening meal.
This is a 12hrs per week contract and will include alternative weekends.
So if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.
Ability to commute/relocate: LE6 - You must be able to reliably commute for shift start times or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence.

We will train you in everything you need to be a great Support Worker. We will apply and pay for your enhanced DBS, and we have a mentorship scheme in place to provide support and guide you on your journey with us.
