Part Support Worker - Leicester (LE3)

You will be working with 3 people who live in a shared bungalow in Leicester (LE3). So, it’s important you can connect, share interests and be interested. They enjoy lots of activities in the community, bowling, cinema, going to the theatre and shopping to name a few! Back at home, they love to watch films and get stuck into arts and craft projects. This role will involve a real hands-on approach as you will be supporting people to maintain their health and wellbeing.

This is a part time role for 22.5 hrs per week 3-4 days a week.

You should be available to work a variety of shifts across the week and alternate weekends, between the hours of 7am- 10pm.

For this role we need you to be a driver with a full UK driving licence that you have held for over a year for insurance purposes. You must be willing to drive a mobility vehicle, so you can get around Leicester and make the most of the time you are spending with the people you support.

If you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.

Ability to commute/relocate: LE3 - You must be able to reliably commute for shift start times or plan to relocate before starting work (required).

Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence.

We will train you in everything you need to be a great Support Worker. We will apply and pay for your enhanced DBS, and we have a mentorship scheme in place to provide support and guide you on your journey with us.

What will you do?
