As a Support Worker at Affinity Trust, you’ll play an important role each day by supporting people to take part in the activities and experiences they value, helping them to live with confidence and independence.
We are looking for female support workers to join our team supporting a lady with learning disabilities and complex support needs, in her own home.
This lady is looking for staff who can support with all aspects of the day, balancing her complex health needs with the things she really enjoys doing, like long walks by the canal in her wheelchair and going out for drives in her car. She enjoys the sensory experience of being outdoors, so you need to enjoy being outdoors, no matter the weather!
Previous experience of supporting people with additional health care needs would be an advantage, as would supporting people with non-verbal communication needs.
You will be working either an early or late shift Saturday and Sunday each weekend.
