We are looking for a fun-loving person to join our brilliant team supporting 10 people who live in their own flats, in the same building in Loughborough.
You will be working in their homes, so it’s important you can connect, share interests and be interested. The people we support enjoy day trips to places of interest, holidays, gardening and many enjoy walking, both locally and further afield. The social area hosts regular activities for everyone, celebrating birthdays and other festivities. This is a busy and active location, so you will need to be an outgoing and encouraging person.
You should be available to work a variety of shifts across the week between 7am-10pm and alternate weekends. We also have part time positions available.
So, if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.
Ability to commute/relocate: LE11 - You must be able to reliably commute for shift start times or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence.

We will train you in everything you need to be a great Support Worker. We will apply and pay for your enhanced DBS, and we have a mentorship scheme in place to provide support and guide you on your journey with us.
