Children and Young People PBS (Positive Behaviour Support) Service Lead - Norfolk

Job Introduction

  • Location: Norfolk
  • Salary: £51,127 per annum, plus mileage
  • Hours per week:  37.5 including travel time
  • Required: BTEC Level 5 diploma in PBS or MSc in ABA/PBS or higher and be registered or be eligible for UK SBA registration
  • A full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle and a willingness to travel across the area

How will I make a difference?

  • Play a key role in developing, leading, and delivering high-quality services for children and young people across the Norfolk area.
  • Work directly with children and young people to provide tailored support that enhances their quality of life.
  • Ensure the service operates in partnership with each young person and the people who are important to them.

Key elements of this role are:

  • Reducing Barriers to service development by building strong relationships with aligned local services
  • Collaborating with providers to help Children and Young People develop their strengths and skills
  • Supervise a team of PBS practitioners by providing guidance, coaching and ensuring that they are trained to a high standard in PBS delivery
  • Design, implement and oversee intervention and support programmes for individuals, working directly with the people we support, families and a range of other professionals as required

What do I need to demonstrate in my application?

  • Extensive experience in actively delivering and implementing PBS strategies and interventions 
  • You will be able to share and embed best practice, empowering others to be champions for Children and Young People
  • You will be able to plan, monitor and evaluate service outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrate some management/leadership experience

Do I need any qualifications?     

  • BTEC Level 5 diploma in PBS or MSc in ABA/PBS or higher and be registered or be eligible for UK SBA registration
  • You will already be accredited and practicing Positive Behaviour Support.
  • You will ideally hold a UK BA or UKiBA supervision certificate
