Bank Support Worker - Hessle ER2

Job Introduction

We’re all about possibilities. Are you?

Do you like walking? Really like it – enough to be out all day? Do you know all the Disney classics and lots of jolly songs to sing? Do you enjoy energetic activities like ice skating, climbing and bouncing on a trampoline?
Do you have enough curiosity and patience to work out how somebody feels?

Become a Bank Support Worker for Cam

What matters to Cam matters to us. It’s his life, his way.
You will be working in his home, so it’s important you can connect, share interests and be interested. From keeping the environment free of litter (very important) to having a picnic whatever the weather, Cam has things he wants to do.
So, if you enjoy building meaningful relationships with someone who communicates in ways other than words, and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside Cam, then this is the place for you.
Cam does have his own vehicle so holding a FULL UK drivers licence is essential to ensure he gets the most from his activity time.

Ability to commute/relocate: HU13 - You must be able to reliably commute for shift start times or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

What will we do?

We will train you in everything you need to be a great Bank Support Worker. We can also support you to achieve a Level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care and pursue a career that takes on more responsibility.

What will you do?

Supporting people is really important but it’s not all trips out and artwork. We also support people to take their medication, make healthy lifestyle choices or maintain their home in a way they are safe and well.
It sounds exciting to say no two days will be the same, but in support, sometimes they are. Sometimes people like routine and struggle with change… But when you support someone to try something new – what a feeling!
If you want to empower people to live the life they choose and you share our values… Apply to become a Support Worker today.
