  • Salary: £36,056.88 per annum
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Now, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and skilled IT Support Technician to be part of our growing IT team.

You will be at the heart of our helpdesk operations: solving problems, supporting users, and helping drive forward bespoke tech projects that make a difference.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Providing 1st and 2nd  line IT support via email, phone, remote access or on-site visits
  • Setting up, repairing, configuring and upgrading Windows devices
  • Supporting smartphone devices and mobile device management (MDM) platforms
  • Troubleshooting networks, desktops, servers, and systems
  • Offering technical support for routers, Wi-Fi, and other peripherals
  • Assisting in system testing, implementation, and security evaluations
  • Contributing to IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for:

  • You have experience in IT support 
    This could be helping people with computers, phones, or systems either inside a company or as a customer-facing role.
  • You are comfortable supporting users of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
     
    For example, you know how to use Outlook (email), Word, Excel, and Teams, and can trouble shoot issues for people using these systems.
  • You have a good understanding of how internet and Wi-Fi connections work.
     
    You know what a network is and can help fix problems with it.
  • You have some experience using tools like Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
     
    These tools help manage users, passwords, and computer settings.
  • You are good at fixing problems with computers or other devices.
    This might include installing software, replacing parts, or helping someone when something isn’t working.
  • You work well with others and can explain things clearly.
    You don’t need to be outgoing just able to share ideas, ask questions, and support your team.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with SharePoint, Azure, and Intune
  • Awareness of IT security best practices, GDPR, and data safeguarding
